Thanks for all the replies, I've purchased 2 of the signals from carnforth models as the model town ones where out of stock. I'll keep you posted on how the carnforth ones turn out

Whilst searching 16mm accessories the other day, I came across some nice plastic semaphore signals but having tried all the websites and Google, I can't seem to find them again. It's Aster so it's gauge 1, 45mm- but I'm not sure what scale, 10mm/ft or 1:32.

gauge oone specialist do the standard 4 tank

asters, well gauge one in general is very expensive

boiler has now passed its steam test and should be on its way back home tomorrow

boiler is done and hydraulic tested, just needs its steam test then he can come home

yeh we'll see how it performs

it was the decision of the boiler make to make it a wet backhead and 5 flue tubes

the bigger the lum the better as you dont have to put as much on

big lumps go on your back end and smaller ones down the front on standard gauge loco's
