Not the pathetic continual weesh followed by the sound of the driver trudging out of the cab with a big hammer and the thwack as said big hammer makes contact with the pump in an attempt to make it start then?Mr. Bond of the DVLR wrote: I can imagine the weesh-caplunk of the Westinghouse!
Seriously though, another fantastic piece of work there, although Greg you should be fitting all your carriages with air pipes now
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

That would just leave you with incomptiable pipes then as the ones of the loco are Vaccum bags.laalratty wrote:Seriously though, another fantastic piece of work there, although Greg you should be fitting all your carriages with air pipes now
Fitting the copper piping to the air pump makes it look so much better than just bolting it on.

Well, today I managed to get down to Butterley in a very poorly running Beatrix, to collect Victoria.
Having seen the photo's I couldn't wait, but was just blown away as soon as I saw her "in the flesh"
It was immediately onto a steam-up siding, followed by as many runs as I could fit in for the afternoon
While I was standing there beaming like a proud father, Matt, who'd done all the magnificent work - only went and sorted out the problem with Beatrix as well! What a STAR
I was so engrossed with running Victoria (Posh, no spice) and drooling over Matt's GVT Dennis and stock, that I almost forgot I'd taken my camera.
Luckily, Jaynie had hers so I'll have a couple of decent pics to follow.
Oh yes, Thomas was there to celebrate the occassion
