Cutting brass track.

Hi, have some LGB and PIKO set track (rather than flexi), which I would like to cut as required, this includes both straight and curved. Best way of doing this please.

I use a junior hacksaw and a small file to clean up the edges as necessary. Basic, simple, does the job.

4 inch angle grinder with a 1mm cutting blade used here.

I use a Dremel with flexy drive, running a 1” fibreglass cutting disk. Cuts cleanly and square, the flexy drive enables this.

I find using a fine razor saw to start the cut as a guide then a hacksaw to finish off works fine for me .
