Gladly!
If you can tilt England up so the rain runs down here, I"ll tilt it up my end for the sun.

As the sawmill is situated in one of only two shady areas on the railway, it is much favoured during this hot dry summer.

Dry tracks means the traction engine is hauling logs out of the forest (basically free fuel!), and four loads of sawn OB timber are
loaded and ready to be dispatched to Leawarra behind the shay.

The shay getting up a full head of steam for the push uphill.

Brilliant! Another great story.
I should have thought of using a traction engine in my recent sawmill special video - instead I placed a shire horse among the trees implying it was the main source of haulage.

As always Grant, you've composed a wonderful story to show off your superb modelling. And that traction engine is a work of art in itself. Being in the north of England, slightly to the West, I don't really understand what a "hot dry Summer" is.

Wow! What a lovely Railway.
So beautiful and that Locomotive is stunning. To have the skill, space and time to build something so wonderful, you must be so proud.
I bet it's great to just watch such a neat train run across the garden.
I'm slowly going through all your post and boy is it fun to see what you have done. I especially like the three red carriages.
Never repetitive and always inspirational.
Thanks for sharing.
