halfords sell the gas..
most cheap stores sell it for £1 a can.
I never been told of a limit at my local B&M as i have bought 12 in a go before now

I got a hglw loco(I have a few other bits from david as well) you can fit rc to them..but need a micro receivoir and speed controller.. I have a speed sontroller under the bonnet,the rc sits under the chassis by the rear wheels and batterys(4X AA rechargable with charging socket)which sit in the cab...

small batter locos run round faller track no problem..even faller 060 locos run round faller no problem..
I saw a small layout at peterbough show with a loco and the round track was about 2 foot diameter..

my 2 year old and 4 year old love the track yes they will meddle with points so set them back from the edge of the board..main track is fine for a 4 year to stand on as well but a kick from the side will break it so if on a trestle 2 foot high they can still see without standing or doing any damage....

there was a set up on ebay a few months ago they was green but more play trains that real thing..1 had a band on it the other animals and 3rd was a party coach..got a pic i think somewhere..

fit rechagable batterys and a charging jack and u will easily get 4 hours run..i got 4x AAA batterys on my hglw loco and it will run stop start all day at open days..

I got a return loop and what i did with my peco points in make the spring a bit weaker by bending it a bit..trains go 1 way come back and change the points ok even some of the wagons when pushed will change the points

if u have the kit already pop the axle in hot water it melts the glue and wheels twist off the axles....if u havent ordered yet just email david and either ask for non glued wheel sets or ask him about longer axles

I still have a 009-hoe scale railway..Actually off to get it out of storage at the weekend its a inverted figure 8 with 2 stations and is 7X3 foot make from frame and mdf top can just be carried by myself..Had loads of fun with it but a little boy and 009 dont really mix..I find faller wagons and lo...

Got the loop done today..and i have a bit of folage as well sprang up just before the points,needs just a bit of fttling on 1 bit on the far side as I had to ge ready for work so will atend to the bit of track(just neds a few more screws put in it) http://i1140.photobucket.com/albums/n563/jaycroker2...

on another hobby of mine,stationary engines there is a bloke who regulary has a small stall with them pop pop boats in a small pool on a table..he has the bigger boats as well as the small ones..

I got 2 faller metal points and mamod will go round but make sure chains on wagons are loose otherwise they derail..fine for sidings which is my plan for them..
