Faller e-train track?

I know some people use the faller playtrain plastic track but does anyone use the faller e train metal track? I have a couple of Mamods and their stock so was wondering whether the e train track points would cause problems with Mamod wheel flanges?

Hello,

you should consider that the radius of the Faller track and turnouts are about 15 inches, so I don't know if the Mamod loco will negotiat these radius.

I got 2 faller metal points and mamod will go round but make sure chains on wagons are loose otherwise they derail..fine for sidings which is my plan for them..

Mr Rodgers would be the man to advise because he uses it on his Pigsty Hill Brewery I believe. But I can't remember if he fequents these parts...

John pops up here from time to time - he's Aizoon, you could drop him a pm? I might be wrong, but I think he's had trouble when running through Faller points in the facing direction with certain stock, possibly particularly when taking the curved route.

Thanks for the advice, I think I'm going to try making my own points but if I'm no good at it knowing I can fall back on the faller points for sidings will be very useful. I recently did a stock check of track and it looks like all I'll need are the points, just need to wait for the builders to finish our extension and then I can start on the railway
