Buckfastleigh has one too. 45mm and 32mm is essential to bring in numbers. Maybe a large shed to shelter in and brew up tea. A small running fee to recover costs over a long period. It's at elbow level too.

Picture of what I mean.

Ebay has them for about £10 Quite large, painted black, with real rust added very good. Can be slimmed on a Lathe but not bad as is. They have the groove in the centre to add cable.

Very tricky this one I would contact Ebay by telephone with the item number and take it from there.
It's like most business transactions, they are as faithful and sincere as the people involved. Luckily most people in life are honourable and selling/buying systems work.

I love looking at all those shots Tony. The MSS Victor was a lovely colour scheme in creamy yellow. Half the fun is the muse on what colour, what loco, what's next.

Lovely layout, especially for its size. I thinks these do lots of good for 16mm Org by stimulating interest.

Is that an Accucraft problem/gremlin on this type? I understand that a new loco can have teething and that within a batch the odd one is slightly off. Do reveal more. I have a Ragleth. When I brought it I asked the trader about reliability he said Accy's are either great or the odd one has a fault, ...

Very! You get an Allen key with them and the wheels have allen key grub screws. These locate into dimples set on the axle shafts. Do check the Allen key grub screws are all flush in other words sunken into the dimples on the axle. Some with specific pony trucks have an extra wheel set in 32mm in the...

The trouble is, with most of these locomotives having no proper bushings or bearings in their crank-pins and valve gear, if you did this sort of thing too often you would wear the locomotive out fairly quickly. I think I like the loco way to much to harm it with load tests. Call me a whimp but I wo...

I had a Lawley and they run so well. great to have 2 safety valves as well. Strong safe reliable. The gas tap takes a while to get used to being so coarse, but minor. Charity shop! Dare we ask how much? Great hobby hope you get building soon.

Cor what a treat!  What is the box between the running gear and the rear pony truck/bogie. It has 2 brass screws undershot. I really want one of these, but, I'd have to sell Tom Rolt to fun it. Hmm! The running working slip eccentric gear looks just like Charles. What should I do? Do let us know run...

It's like in those old western films, when the whiskey is skidded along the bar top. "Hit me with another shot Slim!"
