Phil.P,
The website is Prototype Replica Model Railway Products . As i said it's 7mm scale but you get the idea.

Re: wheel centers
Phil P,
On the page I saw for building a 66 they suggested one motor per bogie and delrin chain to connect the other axles. I must say though that was in O gauge but it would work in gauge 1. Alas I didn't bookmark it.

Re: wheel centers
Graeme, I am indeed modelling in 10mm as always. From what I have found the bogie type used was HTRB Radial. I don't know what the difference is between them and the ones you mention but there does seem to be differing dimensions depending where you look.

Re: wheel centers
Thanks very much for that Phil, From the scant info I found I think you are about right with the dimensions. I will try and mock a bogie up in Tinkercad and see what it looks like.

Re: wheel centers
Hi, o.k, it was just a thought. I understand considering the cost of one. That's why I intend to scratch build one for myself eventually.

Re: wheel centers
Hi again, If any of you own a gauge 1 class 66 could you possibly measure the wheel centers on a. bogie and let me know what they are please. Your help would be much appreciated.

wheel centers
Hi everyone, I am considering scratch building a class 66 in gauge 1. Most of the dimensions I've found online but I can't find the wheel center one anywhere. If anyone can supply me with it I would be most grateful.
Thank you in advance.

re scale
Hi everyone, I would like some info if you can help. I want to print a locomotive in sm32 scale but have to re scale it up from a 00 one and can't work out what percentage it needs to scale up to sm32. Any help will be much appreciated.

Re: My locos
Hi,
I know it is a huge print time but I can do mine for a fraction of the cost and at my own pace, and for me they turn out just as good. Everything is printed except the tyres and roof.

Re: My locos
Hi, 20210724_170119.jpg 20210724_170119.jpg here are some photos of the one coach i've printed so far. I must now give a shout out to a guy known as Robertino who very kindly posted the files for it on Thingiverse. I had been looking for a coach to print for ages and then found this one, so I'm extr...

Re: My locos
Hi, I must apologize as I should have said at the outset that my 27 was built from a kit a few years ago when I had a bit of spare cash, not printed. It is a Bexhill models one and I am sorry to say the owner Robin Neighbour has passed away after a fight with cancer. He actually delivered the kit pe...

Re: My locos
Hi again, these photos are of my Sentinel shunter which is scratch built from mainly ply with printed radiators and buffer stocks and the rest of my wagons. They are all printed except the bolsters which are built of ply with printed bogies, wheels and buffer stocks. I don't know if I can include vi...

My locos
Hi everyone, I've been meaning to post photos of my mainly 3d printed locomotives for a while so here goes. Let me make it quite clear that they are not fine scale by any means but a representation of what I want them to be. The 4F is not completely printed as the boiler barrel is a piece of alumini...

Re: Cleaning up 3D prints
Hi, I do lots of printing and I must agree these are terrible. I wouldn't be happy with them if I'd printed them for myself! Dare I ask who supplied the kit?
