Re: Semi-scale BR: The Modernisation Plan
Hi Bertie, I had issues viewing it from your website too. Using a Samsung Galaxy A8, I can get about a minute in and then it just locks up! Fortunately I was able to download it and view it direct - great stuff! Very stirring

Locobox referred to in an earlier comment have a reputation for being unresponsive or slow in completing orders. Simon Whenmouth of Anything Narrow Gauge also sells boxes for loco storage if that's a route you choose to go down. https://anythingnarrowgauge.co.uk/colle ... ies?page=3

Re: What on earth have I bought?
Hi Andrew… that lighter gas you mentioned from newsagents.. does that have some sort of inbuilt adapter then? Just posted here https://www.gardenrails.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=14366 The bottles I bought don’t have any thread so I can’t attach the adapter sadly. I've answered your query on...

Always enjoy seeing the busy Feckhallbahn. Keeps me motivated - but it's too bloomin' hot to be out working in the garden at the moment.

Re: Camping gas…
Hi, Sorry you've had to wait so long for a reply. There certainly used to be an adapter to fit the threadless 'camping gaz' type canisters (A4, I think, is the classification), because I have one - it just slips over the nozzle on the canister and activates the release mechanism as you press down. U...

Chinglish at its finest🤦♂️ Note: – When you use a motor, can not have bound items, such as adhesives do not flow into the rotary shaft through bearings, and obstruction of the operation of the motor. – The rod of rotation of the...

Rik's solution is ingenious, but I wonder if the same result could be achieved now via 3D printing? It would save a lot of fiddly labour. Various outlets will 3D print, and I'm sure one of the talented 3Ders in this forum could knock up the required .stl file for you? Just a thought.

I think the reinforcing bars on the skip body are there to act as the contact point on frame/wheels on the wagons in the top pictures.
