There still wasn't enough clearance so I had to add the side "panels", blanking off the view under the boiler and above the frames................this in turn meant I had to narrow the LGB chassis to fit!
A DPDT switch on the rear buffer beam and she's now free running so the Battery Carrying Van (BCV) has been returned to normal service.
I thought now I'd also better fit lamp brackets fore and aft for light engine movements and while she was "in bits" I added regulator and sight glass detailing to the backhead.
