Rack and pinion

Anyone know where to get a 16mm scale rack system without the task of machining.

Have you considered the LGB system?

Theres a pack you can add on to LGB track, with a little modification it might suit 32mm gauge.
There are some spares available here for the locomotive pinions but the prices seem a little "steep" (sorry)

Well spotted Mr Bond that looks the jobby! The LGB rack system I wonder if Charnwood use it. Charnwood being the garden railway at GCR.
