Swift Sixteen brass wagon strip.

Hi Guys,

Another of my new products has just landed. It is a plate of brass strips for detailing wagons. Each single strip, (8 on a sheet) is .5mm thick by 4mm wide and about 275mm long with a half etch dot on one side for punching into a rivet.

There are also two more strips at .5mm thick by 8mm wide and about 275mm long. These strips have a half etch line going through the middle for folding into an 'L' section. It also has two rows of half etched dots for punching.

I use a metalsmith rivet punch, but you can just as well use a blunt nail in a drill press with the depth stop setup.

Now you can get a fantastic look with very little effort. I think the price will be about £13 a sheet.

A very handy addition i would say. I can think of quite a few applications already.

I have a rivet punch too by metal smith at £65 its worth every penny and so easy to use never be without one as detailed so much of my stock a nail and hammer not good advice get a punch and anvil from metal smith and have fun producing yer own rivets brass angle and brass strip are so affordable and rivet making is a punch!

You will find this product for £13 is fantastic value. It will cost you more than that if you were to buy plain strip. On top of that, I have saved you the time and effort of marking it all out. It is also very much harder to punch full thickness brass, in this case .5mm. But because the dots are half etch, you will only be punching .25mm that is very much easier and gives a better finish  :D
