looks good but from a distance it looks like a coach. the price is a bit offputting but quality costs.

Yeah it looks very nice....I can picture it trundling along with a small box van behind but yeah...expensive.

Talking about AnDel what about their balcony coaches??

I notice that part of the pedigree of this railcar is
""Mary an AEC Railcar" which featured in the May 2002 edition of Garden Rail, pg 10-14, by Nick Dew
I would like to see that article but unfortunately my electronic subscrition to Garden Rail only give back issues to 2006.

Does anyone have a a scan of that 2002 article that they could post a link to or PM me?

I am planning to build a railcar and have even got the power unit for it, one of the same Tamiya 103 motor gearboxes that apparently powers a railcar on the Takasaki Light Railway!
