LGB - Is there a dedicated place for discussing this?

Hi, I am a new member to the Garden Railway Forum (GRF), but have looked around the site on previous occasions. Much as I have looked, and used the 'search' facility, I cannot find many posts on LGB related topics.

Perhaps I am just not looking in the right place so, if anbody can point me in the right direction, it would be a great help.

On the other hand, it might be LGB is not generally discussed or, for whichever reason, not covered on the GRF. Either way, it would be useful to know.

The GRF is still a great site to learn from and, even if I do lean more toward LGB track and rolling stock as my main garden railway interest, there is more than enough here to add to my enjoyment of the hobby.

As I said, any help will be most appreciated.

Hi Frank,

This forum caters for any scale/gauge in the garden. However, not many members have LGB and are more live steam/battery electric oriented.

If it's LGB solely you want, try G Scale Central (put it into Google). I've never used that forum so can't say whether it's any good or not.

MTA - Thanks for the update and an alternative site to look at too. I'll certainly visit and see what is on offer!

Sir Clothem Cap - Another good point. Perhaps I will post any items under 'Locomotives Electric', and gauge the responses, if any!

Overall, if it does turn out there is a lack of interest in anything I post, that is fair enough. There is so much good information on here which will benefit me, and my foray into the hobby, so I will hope for the best and maybe also join the site MTA mentioned.

Hi Frank, just post in the relevent sections, if its about a loco - electric locos section. If its about buildings for your garden line then "Scenary", if rollinging stock then "rolling stock".

It really doesn't matter if you have LGB or mamod or basset lowke or roundhouse or anything. All is welcome here!

I have my old GRS Hunslet to hand and will take some pictures of it to post in the electric locos section.
