the engine is due for 10 year overhaul, needs new axle bushes and axles plus full repaint on engine as well.

It has certainly clocked up some serious miles on its adventures - that fabulous coal fired smoke has filled a few places (including the clifftop coal mine elsewhere mentioned!)

The 2 GVT coaches dotted about are the results of a New Year's Eve kit building session (much to the amusement of my Mum) Both not totally completed but had a spin around in the form they finished up in at midnight. Mine was minus buffers/couplings so got propelled round, but it did manage a few laps

p.s. links often play up from my pooter when posting on this forum, sometimes o.k. - sometimes not and only this forum. Something a tad bizarre involved somewhere...some 16mm gremlins hiding away.
