SMT 134

Post by taliesin001 » Mon Nov 22, 2010 6:16 pm

Mine came through the door today. It was a bit of a surprise as I didn't think that it was due just yet. Haven't had much of a chance to read it yet but looks like another good issue, what does everyone else think?

My SMT didn't arrive, but I've just had a knock at the door - one of the neighbours took delivery of the Peter Johnson "Welsh Highland Railway" book.

"Speedy Hen Ltd" certainly live up to their name, I only ordered it last night!!!!! :D

Glad to know I wasn't the only one not to get SMT today, hopefully last years performance won't be repeated when us in Morecambe got their November SMT's a week after everyone else for no apparant reason except the Royal Fail.... One of the most infuriating experiances of my life!

Although mine arrived yesterday, it looks as though someone has had a bite out of the front cover and taken a stanley knife to the Bulletin as it has a couple of slits going nearly the full length, yet the packaging was fine! I know I could get another copy because of it but there is really no point as I can still read it, but it's a bit odd!

Of course Greg is totally responsible and will only be reading when it is safe to do so...

Still haven't had mine yet, beginning to wonder if the authorities have hidden it again...

Was glad to hear the thud on the doormat this morning!! Spent a lazy day reading through the enclosed publications. Nice to see a few familiar locos within!! Also quite liking the idea of the Association Project loco. Anyone else considering it??

I got mine today as well, however I have put it down somewhere & really cannot find it at the minute! hmmmm.

LOL, just looked to my left as I sit on the computer chair & I have seen it. Let the flick through commence.
Tommy Dodd may have an ARS key but I have a TASS button & a Rope Ladder, just like pirates, except the TASS button bit.
