Great video Andy, is this a permanent set-up or just a bit off fun? The biggest problem with the mamod track is that the joints doint join the rails, thus creating more oppurtunity to de-rail.
Your railway scathed my cylinder also Andy . I had mine fall a few inches off a concrete ledge in to slate waste and it chipped some paint of the tank, needn't worry really it's a working steam engine, this type of thing happens.

sorry to hear bout the tank, and sorry about the cylinder
Can you persuade her to let you build a permerntent line? I managed to persuade my mum to let me use a disused rockery for my first line, partly because nobody used it, and partly, because she was wanting to make that part of the garden nicer, as it was right next to the car park for our B&B.
Garden Railways-best hobby in the world.
