Iv finished an IP guards van.

it was a tad more complicated than Im used to but I got it right in the end. (more or less anyway...)








its a bit big behind Torak mind


looks Ok behind Caradoc though


cant wait for the weather to clear up!

I have an IP ex MOD brake van like that and it was one of the first kits I built at 16mm scale and it got me hooked on kit building. you just gotta love the way the IP kits go together and now with laser cutting they are getting better and better!

oh yeah!

I cant wait for them to re-release the wagon range in laser cut!
also I like the wooden roof this kit came with.

I only need some little stones to hold it to shape! no elastic bands or using a hair dryer to help curve it or buying a jig like you have to do with them horrid plasticard things!

To be honest, i prefered the plasticard ones.

with the IP FR carriages i just bent the plasticard with my hands and because its plastic it holds its shape nicely with the help of some roof formers i made which were to make the roofs removable anyway.

Well it looks like you've done a better job of that than I did of my IP brakevan - but then that was the very first kit I ever built for 16mm scale! Anyway, well done

This is Mine. When I went to Ray's on Sunday, I was given this. It had a stone in it(now removed) & a stiff axle(now running free). It has also been painted now & Meldrew pulls it wonderfully
