Semi-scale BR: steam engine optimisation
This year’s online marketing blitz. Sober, restrained, nuanced.
Diesels too, of course.

Invigorating!
I almost missed toytrainsinthebackgarden.co.uk it flashed by so fast, but there's a lot of detail there - great to see the line up of the "home fleet"!
Hope that Doctor is there just for the train spotting, and you haven't got an infestation of Daleks, Autons, Zygons or some such...

The Tardis sometimes takes the Doctor where he needs to go, of course…
Oh dear. I hadn’t thought of this, I’d just assumed he (she or they) would be a bit of a Southern Region enthusiast.

Re: Semi-scale BR: steam engine optimisation
I hope you are right, and no one is going to get exterminated. The Matrix of Gallifrey, for example, does contains some fine rolling stock including an impressively speedy 2' gauge Rapier...

Re: Semi-scale BR: steam engine optimisation
Indeed. The Doctor’s appreciation of an admirably fit-for-purpose, 2’ gauge Rapier could have aroused his (hers or their) interest in other more challenging motive power concepts like the Leader, Garratt and up-engined 73. Perhaps.

My goodness! That's very low key [/irony].

Shed allocation
Black and white videos appear to get lower viewing figures than colour but I like doing them — somehow I think it makes the stuff look more plausible — so here are some favourite sequences of the current fleet from the past year or two.
