In the beginning....

So it has begun. Although perhaps in an unconventional manner?
For my birthday my wife and daughters treated me to a Playmobil set!
It's 45 mm gauge and represents an electric commuter train. My 5 year old granddaughter thinks its brilliant!
The brucey bonus is the radio control. OK so the track is hardly "prototypical" but provides a starting point to grow from. And its plastic so won't suffer rot and rust.

Looking forward to setting it up on the decking and playing trains with my granddaughter!
