Merry Christmas from the PTLR

Post by ptlrcecil » Fri Dec 27, 2013 8:54 pm

Hello All. Well No Fails of the NWAG this year (due to computer meltdown and also a lack of NWAG failing). So a more traditional Christmas video from PTLR Productions this year.
Enjoy

Nice video footage, can't stand the East 17 song but never mind  Also, Scafell is not a PTLR engine! Like the fails at the end though
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

The East 17 song to be honest doesn't do much for me either but given that half the engines are in the works for repair/testing "have you got to go away" seemed fitting.

A thoroughly enjoyable video - good to see the little battery electric "got it" at the beginning of the video, instead of Bluebottle!

I enjoyed the video... I like those long red & cream coloured coaches, are they those metal cheddar ones?

I, too, found the music incongruous with the video...not my cup of tea, but the footage of the locomotives and coaches makes up for it! Your garden looks similar in size and shape to the one in the house I just bought. I haven't moved in yet but am already wracking my brain trying to plan the railway so it works but doesn't offend Mrs. Keith's decidedly non-railway-minded sensibilities.

The Bogie IOM's are the tinplate GRS ones. (Just as heavy mind)
The music was chosen for the "have you got to go away" line as half the engines were on shed due to trial testing runs for various work performed by PTLR Engineering.
