Whats under a Roundhouse roof panel ?

Post by swiftsixteen » Sun Oct 20, 2013 7:23 pm

Hi Guys,

Is anybody out there in loco land able to send me a picture of a RH loco with the roof panel removed, the panel that is held on with sticky foam pads. I want to see what the basic roof looks like with this panel removed.

Thanks,

Rob.

There is nothing under the roof Rob other than the hole the aerial pokes through:

The panel is a throw-back to the days of 27 meg and 40 meg radio control - the panel-held-on-with-sticky-pads was the aerial and there was a spade connector soldered to the bottom of it, to which the aerial wire was connected.
