Does anyone know of a website with detailed weathering techniques? I need to make gear wheels built up from MDF look like old, used cast iron. Not really garden railway related but someone here probably knows how to do it.
So far the gear is just sprayed with a silk black. I've mixed some iron powder with vinegar to make some rust that I will try to brush on.
