It doesn't. I suspect shahneel is a rather sophisticated robot. It probably has read most of the forum and extracted keywords, using these keywords it looks at other forums and find comments from those forums that it thinks resemble what we talk about. (i.e. we talk about 'cars' a lot and as a result it posts about driving classic cars) Baring that it searches concept mapping databases (like Freebase) and trying to reply with something that it thinks is relevant.

The program does this to become "one of us" and be beyond suspicion. In a larger forum with many more active users it would probably just filter into the background.

After a little while it will start "suggesting" we use some product or visit some website. Spamming us, but because it comes from someone who has posted content before the mods don't delete the account right off.

I see these things everyday on the forums I manage.

My apologies to shahneel355 if I'm wrong - but his posts certainly match the pattern of these bots I've seen in the past.
