Laser scanning and 3D printing garden railway rolling stock

I'm helping out with a fun new project which may be of interest. Using laser scanners and 3D printing, we're able to create very accurate models of narrow gauge prototypes. Our current project is to model the four Ffestiniog Railway England locos: Prince, Princess, Welsh Pony and Palmerston. We're looking for supporters to help make this project a reality. Hi Sam,

We are planning on producing chassis kits for some of the larger scales, notably 7mm, 9mm and 16mm. It may/should be possible to motorize some of the smaller scale models too, we're exploring options there.
