Point levers,manual,elctric or air?
Hi I am waiting for the crap weather to improve a bit so I can start laying some track, in the mean time I have been having a go at making points and a double slip is half done. What I would like to know is do I use electric point motors, air pumps or manual levers or do you only power the hard to get at points. I like the look of the air system has any body tried it? Any advice on point motors would help.

Narrow Minded
Levers, motors and air just about covers all the optios - but don't forget the extremes with actual point rodding at one end and simply pushing the tie bar over at the other.
I reckon it's very much down to personal preference (ie what you'd like for your own line), but don't forget that in the garden environment even those "hard to get at" turnouts need fairly easily access to remove any detritus from the blades
