How many

Post by Catweasel » Wed May 23, 2012 10:33 pm

Out of curiosity, how many projects do you have on the go. I'm asking because I've only been back in the hobby what seems like five minutes, have no track or rolling stock but five loco's on the bench, with another due to arrive from Dorset which may need some TLC. Crazy.

So no, you're not the only one who has a lot on the go! :D

In no particular order, I need to

1) Move South
2) Buy property
3) Move onto said property
4) Convince wife to give up back garden
5) Build (electric and/or razor-wire) fence to keep out urchins and ne'er-do-wells
6) Purchase rails
7) Build railway
8 ) Finish making little brake shoes for model brake van

I'm currently most active on project #8.

The Darj now has working headlights, but the chuffer arrived today................

Budup wagon is painted and has a new, hinged roof - now put away. Next: the coach!

Right now, the active projects are:

1. Build two tram locomotive bodies for the two Ruby-class locos that are lurking in the house

2. Build two more four wheelers for the tramway (became a bogie coach - in progress 9/12)

3. Start building station buildings (drawings being enlarged to scale - 9/12))

4. Build bridge over the middle path (done 8/12)

5. Extend the line southwards onto the former lawn (started)

6. Construct the other terminus.

7.  Fit cab and car/drunk/cow-catchers to Millie

That should keep me quiet until about 2015!
