Having tried to run here last week and the heaven's opened (although we went to play trains indoors with Roger's OO layout), we tried again this week with sunnier weather but it was colder. To the detriment of my Lyn as the gas was too cold... Despite this we had three engines going.

My 'Lyn' posed with my Accucraft SR stock.

To make up for my failure, Roger let me loose with his Ragleth.

Norman's Caradoc is a changed loco. It now has a Milton burner with Roundhouse type gas jet installed so there's none of the characteristic Accucraft roar anymore.

Roger ran his battery-electric Accucraft/Brandbright Countess as well. To fill in when the steamer's were cooling/re-fuelling.

I was a bit peed off to say the least!

But as I hardly ever run trains in the cold weather (never had the opportunity) I completely forgot about the problems with gas.

Once my Ragleth is up and running this shouldn't be a problem!
