The best cure if you still want to keep them there is some more shelf supports to spread the weight. I hope your stock is recovering well.

Hi all

i have taken some time to access the damage to some of the locos , here is some my findings so far..

the baguley will need a new roof but rest is repairable. Lister is back in kit form(photo taken just after it happened)

and some of the steam locos(first of the boxes looked at so far. seam repairable.

the mille just the cab back is not where it should be..

there is a bit more damage to the Bertie...

Russell is paint work(locolines transfer so don't know how to cover that up!) and coal box...

WD baldwin all the brackets holding the body work are bent and so is the chimney...

not yet look at the others as there just so much i can take... now where s my Christmas spirit..

How heartbreaking. I wish all your loco's a full recovery in time. The only silver lining I can think of is if you can get some pleasure from the refurbishment process. :(

Hope you have a Merry Christmas in all other regards.

" Where do we keep our locos? "

My Jane and Rapier live on the shelfs at the top of my stairs with all the steam toys.

I think that you can also take some solace from the fact that everyone else on here will have by now double checked their own storage places! 8)

It's good to know that progress is being made, please keep us up-dated.
Have you tried contacting Andy Bell about a replacement roof for the Baguley, or are you gonna just scratchbuild one?

If you're struggling and want to send me the remnants of the roof to use as a guide, I'll make you one.
