After 'winning' an old & what turned out to be a non- running IP Engineering Koppel last week on ebay and having now tweeked it somewhat, it has become No. 14 on the SLR(N) & will be used by the Permanent Way Department.

Nice, saw that on ebay. What was actually wrong with it?

The motor turned the gearing to the wheels but due to the chassis being completely out of alignment with anything it just sat on the track with the wheels spinning round making a terrible grinding sound. Plus on trying to fix the problem, the body work stated to fall apart due to being only lightly glued.
