The Wampool Valley Light Railway

Some pics of a railway I've never been to before. Its at the bottom of a large garden overlooking a stream & most is supported on posts. The line is basically terminus to terminus with the railway taking a long & winding route around the garden where there are three stations with passing loops. The large sentry type boxes that appear are for the proposed signalmen who will control the block working & signals next year!

Great pics, looks like a nice line although I am only very slightly gutted about not attending, because of the quite awesome day I've just had at Ravenglass

And it also had the feel of going on real journey & with having to walk around the outside of the line all the time both LMSjools & I were pretty tired when we finally left!
