Re: Peckforton Light Railway - Video Library
Lovely video Rik.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours.
Speaking of rain I just emptied the rain gauge and we have had 58mm+ over the last 2 days and it is still raining.
Rain has washed out play on the outside re construction work on the layout.

Re: Peckforton Light Railway - Video Library
Thanks chaps
I can't believe it was twenty years ago the PLR (or Rik's Railway as it was then called) started life. In those days, I was still working full time. I have no idea how I then managed to find time to create the railway. I hardly have time now I'm retired.....

That little momentum van does a really good job of taming the steamer. Interesting to note its short wheelbase, maybe short enough to use at one end of a bogie wagon. Hmmmm!

Alternatively an extended chassis can be built, such as the one I made in 2018, shown here....LNR wrote: Sat Apr 26, 2025 1:22 am That little momentum van does a really good job of taming the steamer. I wonder if anyone spotted the "Easter Egg" that we hid in the video of the Caledonia's visit...

I'm saying nowt.
Mainly because, although I remember Zach saying he was about to do it, I can't remember when he actually placed the inspector in the scene.

It has been a while since I updated this thread so here is a more recent video from the archive
It also gives me an opportunity to check whether the extension which makes uploading videos is working since the update to the forum
