Step Up Voltage and Battery Charging

Morning All,

I'm building a Bootlane loco, and I want to put in sound card (I think)..

Has anyone got some experience with step up voltage converters? Also, I'll want a 6v charging pack to power it all, any recommendations?

But I can't figure out what connectors the charger comes with, and how I get a plug and socket to plug it in.....
