The move in premises is caused by a large decrease in the interest in steam over recent years and also the rising costs for Mamod LTD, including rent increasing by over 100%, forced by our landlords trying to kick us out, the lack of availability of factories and warehouses in the Birmingham area, material costs, and costs of production rising by ~15% a year, among many other reasons.

Mamod have posted that after the open day this Saturday, they will be closing.

The present owner has stated he hopes to continue to supply spares, and a limited small number of some models, from the mamod spares website.
