My version only has a tool store at one end, rather than both ends but the internal layout is probebly going to be the same as the original (if I can remember what it was like, very few photos were taken of the van and none of the inside have appeared in print as far as I know). My version will still be yellow though!
The model uses 2 ends and a internal partition cut for another coach over 2 and a half years ago, and lain unused untill now.
This shows progress at the moment, the sides are 4mm ply, it was surisingly easy to cut the windows out, the doors were not fully cut through, rather like the door markings on the laser cut IP engineering stock
The van is already starting to take shape, I have spent 2 or 3 days on it so far, preparing the ends and partition took a long time-the reason they were not used originally was that they were cut rather badly and needed lots of sanding to get square!
Finally, this van is to no scale really, it is just sized up for the ends that I had and then the length is supposed to be a best guess at getting the proportions right
