Is there any truth in the rumour that he has stayed on in Lincolnshire, having been co-opted onto inspection of the GN/GE joint line resignalling, resulting from the brief interest he showed at Sleaford North?
"Smith! Why do you only come to work four days a week?

Whatever happened to Mr. Isle? I was rather enjoying reading this thread.
"So what's yer name?" asked the driver.
"Charlie, sir."
"I don't address my firemen by their Christian names, son. Give me your surname."
"Darling, sir."
"Okay, Charlie, start shoveling."

It appears that he may have retired. However should he wish to supplement his pension with a bit more work, I am sure it could be found for him.

I'm not sure he retired, I think MIA is more appropriate, or possibly simply skived off when nobody was looking. I do think he should be winkled out from wherever he is ( Last seen in Lincolnshire I believe?) and put back to work PDQ.

He's putting all the wrongs right on the DVLR as far as I know... Once he'd recovered from his travels.
No one expects the SPANISH ACQUISITION!!!

Re: The Great Forum Railway Inspection
Maybe we need a new one then as I am not paying the current Inspector from the GRF kitty if he is just having a constant jolly on the DVLR!
