Post by River Lin » Fri Jul 28, 2017 2:24 pm

Hi all.
Sorry if this has been asked before.
Can anyone suggest an equivalent aerosol paint to roundhouse victorian maroon. Plastikote b42 burgundy is very close but i can only find it in a small jar.
David.

In that post Graeme (GTB) sent me a useful resource that gives equivalent, and close to equivalent paint codes in various standards:

I ended up painting my Lady Anne in RAL3007 and was very pleased with the colour, although I suspect if placed next to a loco in genuine Victorian Maroon there would be a noticeable difference.
