salter valves in 16mm?

Just a little query here, I was wondering whether or not its possible, practical, or advisable to make working salter safety valves in 16mm live steam

I'm sure its possible to make them work, how reliable they would be is another matter. The parts involved will also end up very small to keep them near scale, the originals not being that big to begin with.

So hypothetically speaking, if multiple valves were fitted, as of course was usually the case on full size practice, could it be made to work safely in peoples opinions?
