Lots of details on the balcony.
My newest build in 7/8 is slowly getting towards finnishing. Now I´ll climb up the roof and shall work with ventilation issues

God evening.
In a way I feel that I have come to the end of this thread. By that I mean, I now have taken off.. My new Herrmann O&K loco arrived a week ago. Now I´m dealing with all the small details and adjustments that has to be done. And the work goes on..The last pics in this thread

Yes. I´m struggeling to learn to handle it in an efficient way. I just have had 3 testrides yet. To find the balance betwen the gasfiring and the waterconsumtion, seems to be crucial on this loco. In the driving instrucs, Herrmann points out that the waterlevel should be half full in order to save gass, when warming up...But afterwards, when it is been warmed to the right preassure? I don´t quite know yet... So until now I had a lot of stops to afterfill water.LNR:118532 wrote:Michael, that's a very attractive little loco you have there. A well tank that actually shows the tank. The gasstank is hard to get eye on, it´s situated under the backend of the boiler.
And as you said I´m making progress in learning to drive the engine. It´s so fun!!!
