While awaiting the opportunity to start laying some track 'out there' I have been tackling some 16mm projects so that there is something to run when the track does finally appear.
My latest bit of fantasy nonsense involves a conversion of this...

The Chariot has been grafted onto an IP budget chassis. The axlebox covers are by Tenmille. It seems to work ok. The detailing has still to be finished. The following clip shows track testing on a circle of Mamod track.

Hi Peter,
Yes, that's half the fun. I imagine a few people had a nosebleed when Captain Howey converted his Rolls Royce into a 15" guage galloping goose for the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Rlwy.

At present I'm halfway through painting the framework for the clear canopy. Orange on the inside, and bare metal foil on the outside. It is taking some time, especially as work and other matters are taking up my time at present.
