Radio controlled regulator

Hi im thinking of fitting radio control to my mamod or maybe a different loco but only on the regulator so I wondered if anyone knew of a good cheap but reliable system to use and how to set it up, I believe a single servo will do (correct me if im wrong)

I am no expert on RC but there is quite a bit of information on the forum about various systems and instillation.
It was enough to help me retro fit r/c to most of my engines.

I'm in the process of r/c ing the steam whistle on 'Violet', my Bertie class engine and I got the servos from here, http://www.t9hobbysport.com/rc-gear I'm sure you could get lots of help and information from them as they were really quick in responding to an email question I had.
