How long is Linda?
Hello,
I wonder whether anyone has an RH Linda they'd be prepared to measure for me?
I'm about to lay out the track for my new terminus. Space is at a premium and so there's no point in trying to accommodate an NGG16 or whatever, but I reckon I should be able to squeeze Linda or Blanche in at a push.
Many thanks,
Andrew.

....oh. You didn't mean my mom......
Just to clarify, that's with her tender behind???
If the weather holds long enough to lay track this evening, and in the absence of any other responses, it looks like the length of my headshunt will be determined by the height of Peach Bottom's Mother. It's gonna make the platform crazily short, but what can you do?

Here´s a copy of the dimensions shown on the RH museum webpage concerning the Linda, Charles etc. series.
•Dimensions :- length 300mm, (460mm r/c) width 105mm, height 140mm, weight 3kg. (4kg r/c)
If the 1:1 Linda (mother) is just under 5 foot that means that the 1:1 Linda locomotive including tender behind is almost exactly 7 Linda (mothers) long.
Hope this helps.
Just as well you didn´t ask about the weight
