looks like the steam is blowing straight to the exhaust and not to the cylinder ports.

it looks as if their one has a piece adding in the middle between the bas and cap. could i do the same?

im pretty sure i have seen a edrig chimney extension kit but cant remember where. does anyone here know of one?

very nice model, lovely. looks like it has a new boiler aswel so the fittings can be in the cab, love the dummy valve gear aswel.

good idea with the whistle, might have to do one myself on my edrig.

go for it pauly. i had never used a gas loco or anything similar when i first steamed my edrig, the only one i had was a mamod, and got on great on my first steaming.

yeh i think pps's second hand list is worth a try. give ip engineering an email, he might have one or two left in stock, thats where i got my mamods from.

and they look like theyre upgraded ones as you can see the gland nut.

the gas burner is a bonus aswel.
