Whats under a Roundhouse roof panel ?

Hi Guys,

Is anybody out there in loco land able to send me a picture of a RH loco with the roof panel removed, the panel that is held on with sticky foam pads. I want to see what the basic roof looks like with this panel removed.

Thanks,

Rob.

Hello, I based Flash on Li-po because they have high capacity/discharge/low weight. But, they also make small NIMH. As long as you can get a NIMH pack to fit, be light enough and be at the correct voltage for your ESC, that will be fine. My system at 2200amps will last for hours. I think the voltage...

My personal Flash was born today.
O my, you're going to LOVE it !!!!!!!!
The performance can be HUGE !
It's as good as the test bed, but better because it stays on the bends at a modest speed.

  :D  :P

Hi,

It will come with 32 or 45mm stainless steel wheels on the standard Swift Sixteen brass tube bush in the back to back. There is noting stopping you fitting standard bearings or even ball races !

If your running 45mm, I know the IP wheels have problems on 45mm. All my early kits used IP wheels and people were having problems with them on 45mm. To fix the problem, they were fitting plastic card packers behind the wheels. I no longer use IP wheels.

No, you are right, it's a locomotive / engine. If it isn't a train, then neither is a single unit railcar...... As usual, there's a prototype for everything, even if it wasn't ng. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Schienenzeppelin_Steilrampe.jpg .....or the US contribution, the stealth railca...

To be honest, I have no idea, it's just a standard 4 wheel van. I'd be surprised if it couldn't handle anything you could pull it around. We are using some really nice stainless steel wheels now with very good rounded flanges. The 45mm flanges are larger to handle LGB track. This should help greatly...

I would carry on with the build.  Those in the know may find themselves scratching their heads trying to work out what is wrong with the coach. I put a video of my swift sixteen low loader bogie wagons into this forum and no-one noticed all the bogie sides were upside down.  Well, they didn't notic...
