Re: Blender/Makehuman/MPFB2
Sounds promising. I'll let Philip get his head around the finer points and keep fingers crossed he'll produce one of his excellent tutorials. Rik Oooohh...thtop it   Seriously, after my reply to Paul I did have a quick look at the clothes thing and it's actually the same as the MH add-on...

Re: Blender/Makehuman/MPFB2
Yes I think that's true Paul, and most of the clothes that are there are for women or weirdo's :D . However it apparently does have a clothes generator built in although I haven't looked into that until I can get my basic problem sorted. I hadn't heard of it either until I had a look to see if there...

Blender/Makehuman/MPFB2
Just wondering whether anyone has tried MPFB and if so how you got on? In case anyone is wondering, MPFB is a sort of 'next generation' to Makehuman and integrates a new iteration of MH into Blender as a plugin and uses the same assets etc. It appears to be very good and is easy to use, except that ...

Re: Wilmington Light Railway
Interesting and ambitious in equal measure! FWIW, my only comment would be that removable bridges end up being a pain, if not worse! I can see why you need it, but my inclination would be to raise the garden ( ramps or steps) and put in a level crossing that can be walked on. I ended up having to do...

Re: New Project
That is excellent Rod, very well done. The finish on the woodwork is particularly good, looks exactly like weathered whitewash. Glad the pipe fittings came in useful. That's a handy tip re Fimo and the air fryer, I don't think I'd have thought of that, although I haven't used Fimo in a long while an...

Re: Figure downloads
Rik,
You probably ought to put this in the Suppliers lists as well?
I've known Dean since his early days and and a few figures off him way back then. My only comment about his more recent stuff is that it is all 'modern' with fat women and guys in jeans and hoodies.

Re: Brandbright Panelled Coaches
These are fabulous figures. As a “know nothing” regarding 3d printing, I’m assuming you pay your thirty odd quid which allows you to download and have unlimited access to the files? So, if I modelled in 7mm and 16mm scales I could print a figure in both? As I don’t have a printer, and probably don’...

Greg has proposed Bridges as the next theme. So your picture may be an underbridge or an overbridge ( or both!) but must include a railway line either crossing or being crossed by water, road, or rail. There are some very scenic railways amongst the membership, so we expect some good pictures please...

Thanks for the update Graeme. I finally got around to looking at your programming blog entry which I've been meaning to do since you mentioned it a while back. I also previously saw the comment by somebody about using ChatGPT, as you did, but looking at it I didn't have a clue how to use that, any m...

ARCHIVE
Just in case anyone has noticed that a lot of the old Gallery threads seem to have disappeared, we have now archived them to keep the Gallery to one page and avoid the most recent ones getting lost onto a 2nd page. Nothing has been deleted and all the old threads are now in the "Archive" s...
