Night and day difference with that kit Rik it looks fantastic now. I would have thought a couple of good coats with Poly varnish or similar would keep the colour but fill the end grain of the card. Its been a fun summer running season. Although its rained much more then usual which has really put the brakes on a lot of the infrastructure work I'd planned. won't be long before we're back into dark and cold winter and that'll be that for another 6 months

Ballasting looks exceptional mate I think im going to have to try something similar down here. Its amazing what a difference the little details make.

Thanks Graeme thats a good start! Im more aiming for the preserved scheme as I find the original TGR red and cream a bit bright for my tastes.
