Re: UK Rolling Stock in G - Project not yet started
Pneumatic Signals: I built these as a bit of a test just to see if it would work... and it does! Train Controller (the computer software) detects the occupancy of a train on the bridge and sets the signal to danger accordingly. They are moved by a point actuator (air powered point motor) so the mec...

Delorean: Originally purchased from Amazon - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Welly-Future-Delorean-Machine-Scale/dp/B000Z45PEC/ Ground away some of the bodywork underneath with a dremel and fitted a couple of Piko wheel sets. Diecast metal bodied model so its heavy enough to stay on the rails. [video]http...

Re: Convert LGB loco to battery power (with radio control)
Aware it is two years later but to update on this with what i ended up using. The only thing i may do differently was use a larger capacity battery, i get around 30 mins of cleaning on this one before i have to charge. This would of involved putting the battery in a box car but if were doing regular...

Convert LGB loco to battery power (with radio control)
I'm hoping this Is a quite straight forward job. I have an LGB 21670 track cleaning loco which currently runs on DCC. This is a bit of a catch 22 when the track is dirty and it's stalling all the way round because the track is dirty so hence the idea to convert it to battery power. Ideally with some...

Re: LGB Crocodile Upgrades, DCC, Sound, Lights, etc
Update on this The running issues were sorted by turning off Back EMF on the decoder but then came back a few runs later. Eventual solution was to install two decoders (one for each bogie set) with the only link being the track power feeds joined. This has had it running fine for months now. IMG_201...
