Thanks for your encouraging comments, like everyone here I just do the best within the limits of my knowledge and experience. There is no other building in the pipeline at present although that doesn't preclude the possibility. Used 6mm PVC foam board for weight reasons plus its very easy to work wi...

First attempt At Building

Hello to all, I only have a very small layout 18 metres long consisting of a straight section with a reversing loop at each end, the loops controlled by spring switches. As my Locos are battery powered I don't have to worry about track polarity. The photo shows my first attempt at a building. Based ...

Thank you kandnwlr but I have no idea how large your building is, perhaps you could run a ruler over the guttering and measure them :)

Rail Motors

Wonder if anyone can help with photos of the LMS rail motors, these were small locomotives attached to carriages that only had one bogie (as far as I know)
Any help appreciated.

Thanks for the replies all taken on board.
I must say that placing these turnouts on a temporary layout and running my only loco through them at a variety of speeds the loco does not derail.
I have written to Train-Li and hope to receive a reply next week, I will post the findings.

Train-Li turnouts

I recently purchased a left and right hand Train-Li turnout, these are very well made turnouts and should give years of service but there is an issue with them. This may be normal but I would ask for opi...

There is an advert on NZ tv where the main character always ends by saying "good things take time"
You have certainly produced a very good thing.
