Hi,
in March 2013 I bought an IP Eng Shelley Tram Loco kit together with the necessary gear for radio control. The advice I was given when I ordered it was to construct it as far as the point where the radio control stuff needed fitting and then to get back to them.
As with many other modelling projects this didn't get done straight away and now I'm attempting it I've stalled quite early on with a few problems. I'm aware there are problems between IP Eng and 16mm Ass and have not been able to contact them on the number I have.
Very simply, the body instructions don't appear to relate exactly to all the components I have. The instructions were written in 2004 and I believe the body components have been 'updated' since this time.
More important is the issue of electrics and radio control. I've got the motor, gear box and chassis to operate at 3 volts and I think I could set up for manual speed control using the instructions given. My real problems are what to do about fitting the radio control. I don't even know what the components are called let alone know what to do with them.
Has anyone had similar problems and resolved them and would be willing to give me some guidance?

Thank you, I'll do that.sstjc:100098 wrote:Since you brought the kit IP have moved which may be why you can't get hold of Ivan. Try dropping him an email and explaining the situation. He may still be able to advise.
