Having cobbled my loco together these represent good value really. I love it, I'm almost tempted to sell my latest diesel and put it towards one of these...Any more shots?

Whoooor! I do like your colour scheme..Cost is an odd thing, with hobbies we save on top of bills to pay, so it is often hard fought. Enjoy, and well done.

I can vouch for the fact that they run very well, and for a long period: had one as a guest loco at Telford and it ran as well as you'd expect any Roundhouse loco to do!

Hi Jay, it's RC. They don't do a manual one at the moment. Hav'nt had a chance to run it yet. Hoping to run it tomorrow.

I'm waiting for my Little John - dark green with red buffer beams. :D

I think it comes with a simple R/C stearing-wheel-controller. Would it be possible to put a sound-module into this little shunter?
I can not find anything about this on the RH-website or on the Locoglyde website.

Anyone here who knows ... ?

RH Little John comes with R/C but with no sound. Are there any plug-and-play sound-modules made for this engine (yet)?

In my IP Jessica I used the Chuffed2bits sound card, it is made for them buy Mtronic. they use model tug boat sounds, you can hear them on their web site. I also used the mini speaker from Chuffed2bits.

Here it is - my new little beast - the Little John from Roundhouse.
The engine will eventually have some more details added, and some heavy weathering ...

Very nice but I think you are right it could do with a bit of weathering.
I will have a word with the locomotive superintendant of the PMR and see if one could find its way down here.

Hello steamie
They are LGB wagons # 40190. The gauge is changed from 45mm to 32mm.

Very nice! Exciting too, 'cos I've got one on order in a similar colour scheme - inspired by yours I've gone for the bronze green and wasp stripes, but RH are going to do the rods and cranks in yellow...

Andrew.
